The Open Universiteit is a leader in the application of new learning technologies and educational concepts, both in its own right and through collaboration with partners. A key concept is competency-based lifelong learning in a virtual learning environment, which is flexible, personalised and of high quality. The draft ICT PSP work programme has been finalized for this year. It covers 5 themes; theme 2 relates to Digital Content. EUR 38 million will be available for funding projects under the following 4 objectives: Aggregating content in Europeana, Digitising content for Europeana, Raising awareness of Europeana and promoting its use, and eLearning.
