.gov.uk design principles

The UK GOV has published it's 10 design principles for digital services. Although they were concieved in a different realm, I think the all apply to Learning Design, and probably to other design domains:

Thirdy participants from companies and higher education institutions attended the workshop on "The Theory and Practice of Learning Design" at the OEB 2011 conference, last wednesday, Nov. 30, 2011 (see http://cloudworks.ac.uk/cloudscape/view/2362 for all activities, presentations, etc.)

The full day workshop on Theory and Practice of Design for Learning was held on the 30th of November at OEB. The morning session was devoted to a presentation of the Learning Design field by Grainne Conole and to a quick survey of 5 design patterns and 5 tools to support learning design (CADMOS, Compendium LD, Open GLM, the Learning Designer, WebCollage).
