4th European Conference on Games Based Learning

The Conference will address elements of both theory and practice of aspects of Serious Games, and it offers an opportunity for academics, consultants and practitioners involved in this field to meet and exchange ideas. The programme for the event will include an extensive range of peer-reviewed papers, including keynote presentations from leaders in the field.

International Conference on eInclusion of Youth at Risk
Leuven, Belgium

13-14 -September 2010

On 13 and 14 September 2010, INCLUSO will organise in Leuven (Arenberg Castle, Heverlee-Belgium) an international conference on e-Inclusion of Youth at Risk.

Some of the speakers will talk about games based learning:

- 'Serious urban gaming' Lieve Achten, Eurwheels
- Replay: Gaming technology platform as a support tool for anti social behaviour prevention for young people at risk to be marginalised - Francisco Ibañez

Around 100 participants will take part in the conference. The conference will gather international specialists in the field of social media use and improvement of social inclusion for disadvantaged young people and delegates from decision-making groups such as governments and the European Commission to discuss options for further research and policy.
