ICT2010, the most important European Commission event on R&D (http://ec.europa.eu/information_society/events/ict/2010)
is starting today!

The conference will include special sessions to present the European Commission priorities for its R&D funds (2.8 billion euros during 2011-2012). The key themes this year are the potential of digital solutions to promote sustainable growth, and the human face of the digital age: the role of ICT in the daily lives of citizens and the importance of public participation in the innovation process.

The European Commission has invited researchers from all parts of Europe to have the opportunity to present their results. More than 200 projects will be shown in 10,000 square meters.

EU4ALL, a project on accessible elearning for all (www.eu4all-project.eu) which takes part of the TELEurope Network (http://www.teleurope.eu/pg/groups/517/accessible-learning-for-all/) was also invited to participate in the ICT2010 exhibition.
