The European Association for Technology Enhanced Learning is pleased to call for proposals for organizing the 6th European Conference on Technology-Enhanced Learning, ECTEL 2011.

 This event will be the latest in the series of this successful and highly competitive event: see e.g. the 5th ECTEL Conference in in Barcelona, Spain (http://www.ectel2010.org).

DEADLINE for Provisional Bids: November 19, 2010.

Short proposals are invited at this point to organize this event. Proposals should be a short 2 page proposal with some indications of the following issues:

Each bid should contain the following information:

• Why EC-TEL’11 in XY?
  • Background on the city / location
  • Background on the organizing group
  • Short bio of local organizers
• Conference Organization
  • Suggested conference date
  • Suggested conference venue and facilities
  • Traveling to/from/in XY (incl. some price information)
  • Lodging/Hotels (incl. some price information)
  • Suggestion for the special event / conference dinner
  • Provisionary Budget, including suggested registration fees

And any other information you feel is relevant. Bidders are STRONGLY encouraged to contact a member of the EATEL executive to discuss possible bids as soon as possible.

A sub committee appointed by the EATEL executive will consider shortlisted bids and provide feedback to the association.
