A new resource now accessible from the TEL Dictionary

Part of the TEL Dictionary project is structuring the keywords in the TEL research area in order to get a better picture of the interdisciplinary nature of field and the web of the concepts which are either explicit in our publications or emerging from them. One strategy is to explore how these keywords come together in a text, there relative weights and trends this may suggest. We have made these maps accessible from the TEL Dictionary home page, but you can have also a direct access by clicking [here]

Hello Nicolas, thanks for posting. Quite interesting work.

If you would like to allow a bit more dynamic exploration of the graphs, I can recommend  this tool (easy to install, does only need a link to the gephi file):https://github.com/raphv/gexf-js

See an example here: http://hawksey.info/gexf-js/index.html#iie2011.gexf

By the way, did you apply in the end the idea that I detailed here (community detection to get better topic clusters)?: http://www.teleurope.eu/pg/forum/topic/137729/the-words-of-tel-research-a-picture-from-the-telearn-open-archive/

Hello Thomas,

Yes we applied the community detection ... thanks again, that really helped ! I'll have a look at the tool you recommend.
